American Idol Results Show * *

It was American Idol results show last night and the top 6 are battling it out to make sure they will not be voted off this week. The 6 contestants that are left are Arron kelly , Casey James , Crystal Bowersox , Lee Dewyze , Michael Lynche and Siobhan Magnus. Each of them sounded good in their own way. Crystal who is usually the judges favorite was not this week with her rendition of no one needs to know. Casey James got the high praise this week with his style of "Dont" saying that it was one of his best performances yet. The one that America did not like this week was Siobhan Magnus singing "Any man of mine" "I'm going to miss you," Simon said, giving her a hug, and Ellen promised that she'd see Siobhan on her show. So now we are down to five. What do you think was she the one that had to go home or in your opinion should it have been someone else. American Idol Results Show * *

The results show was on tonight on American Idol and we had to say goodbye to two girls and two guys. This was the first cut of the season and it is always hard when you get cut on the first show. The guys went first on Tuesday and then the girls followed the guys on Wednesday. They also made a special announcement on the results show on Thursday that they will be doing a American Idol give back show where they will be giving a lot of the proceeds to help rebuild the country of Haiti. Now with the results of the Tuesday show and the two guys that will be going home. One of them that was vote off was Joe Munoz. Joe is 20 yrs old from Huntington Park California and sang “You and I”. The next guy that was voted off was Tyler Grady the 20 yr old guy from Nazeth PA. Tyler sang “American Women”. Then on Wednesday it was the girls turn and one of the girls to go was Ashley Rodriguez. Ashley is 22 yrs old from Chelsea MA and she sang Happy. Everybody thought that song was just not her still maybe that is why she got voted off. The next girl to leave was Janell Wheeler the 24 yr old girl form Orlando Florida who sang “What about Love”. So there you have it everybody, your first 4 contestants to leave this year’s top 24.

American Idol Judge Does Maxim * *

There has been a lot going on with the American Idol show recently. From Paula Abdul leaving and now the word that Simon will be leaving after this season which will leave the only original judge as Randy. When they decided to have a fourth judge come on the show Kara DioGuardi became the new fourth judge. Who could not forget when Kara made bikini girl mad by showing her up in that black sexy bikini she was wearing. I guess that was not enough exposing herself so she decided to do a cover shoot for Maxim magazine. It will be the March issue where she talks about being a judge and what she thinks about the other judges leaving. She was asked by Maxim if she misses Paula and she replied by saying” during the auditions, yeah, I missed her. She was so nurturing, and I try to have some of that in my critiques. I wouldn't say I have the maternal instinct that she had, though. I'm a little bit more New York, a little more hard-edge.” She also asked if she was happy about Ellen joining and she said “I was like, "Rock on!" Are you kidding? The thing with Ellen I don't think everybody understands is that she's a huge music lover. That's what you need to be on Idol.”
